Studying in the Netherlands – on a trial basis
“Study Try Out”: Decision guidance for German Students on March 30th and 31st 2010

In addition to preparing for exams and tests, German students are preoccupied with important questions: What will I do after school? Which university should I choose and which study course will I participate in? There is of course information available on the internet, and some students visit open days to find out where to enroll when they finish school. But the reality of studying, the learning methods and simply the day to day life at an institution of higher education often remains vague.
The Saxion Universities of Applied Sciences and the ArtEZ Academy of Art and Design in Enschede are therefore hosting a „Study Try Out“. On March 30th and 31st prospective students are given the opportunity to experience the daily life of students in Enschede. During workshops about their study courses of interest, participants are provided with all the information they need to make their study choice.
Studium in den Niederlanden: “Study Try Out“ in Enschede
The Dutch, English and German study courses offered by Saxion and ArtEZ cover a wide range of subjects and areas of interest, and the workshops planned during the Study Try Out reflect that: Workshops on Art & Design, Physiotherapy, Human Resource Management, International Business and Languages, Tourism and Leisure Management, Hotel Management, IT, International Finance and Accounting and many more can be attended. There will also be a Dutch language course, where participants can get an idea of the language and get used to some words and expressions.
Teachers and students will be happy to answer any question, and during an evening out in the city of Enschede, participants can socialize with their prospective fellow students.
